Paper Vessel is a stationery and paper arts studio
launched by Linda Ellis Allen in 2003. Linda is a graduate
of the New York School of Interior Design, and her sense
of color, scale and texture has been translated into creating
a line of elegant art image cards, gift wraps and origami
corner page markers. All of the designs are created from
original mixed media artwork and photo images.
Why
we are
The company name, Paper Vessel, was chosen because Linda
defines a vessel as “a container or carrier of
something precious”. A Paper Vessel can be as
simple as a blank note card that carries a handwritten
sentiment to offer comfort, to show appreciation, or
to celebrate an event or accomplishment. The wraps preview
the gift inside or add emphasis to a scrapbook memory
page. The corner page markers are designed to contain
the corners of a book or journal, and mark the journey
of the reader.
Thanks to you
Our “Collections” line continues to expand
with three new designs recently added. Last year’s
introduction of our “Ensembles” wedding
invitation and stationery line has received a tremendous
response.
Since
opening our new studio in the West University area of
Houston in October 2005 it has been a whirlwind of activity.
We want to thank our new customers for their business,
their referrals; but most of all for their inspiration.
